Front shaft greasing: not enough?
It would seem many posters have problems with failing front DC unis failing, often soon after replacing the shafts.
This has prompted me to grease all the shaft unis in between and with 10000K services (roughly every 5000K).
So far so good, but I am still surprised to find the front unis take so much grease to pump through each time. My usage is mainly highway with about 20 percent dirt roads, wading a rarity.
Moral of story: you cannot grease the front unis too often, it would seem.
Does anyone grease them more often?

When I was regularly driving my RRC between Horsham and Adelaide for work I would grease the propshafts every trip or two. The front always took more than the rear, I assume due to the heat of the engine / exhaust making the grease runnier.

I put half a dozen squirts into the unis on my Tom Woods shaft once a month. The vehicle does 60/40 beach/highway.
