You dont need to spend $$$ on Sand/traction Ladders, just take a dozen hessian bags, 1/2 fill them with sand and put under you wheels, job done. cost - free , take up no space & weigh next to nothing
Not sure how we survived before Max Trax were invented and Winches were a necessity.
All of the country you will be traveling through was explored in vehicles that had neither.
i will have a long handle shovel and pressure guage....
Along with heeding all the other advice break camp early as the dunes hold together a lot better before the sun warms the sand up!

						Easy drive on correct pressures and there are heaps of vehicles every day. Just take shovel as mentioned and a snatch strap just in case.

						The only place in the Simpson you can get into trouble is the clay pans. If its wet you will struggle with double diff locks
