Lightbulb Lamp grills front and rear

    Hey guys,

Does anyone have on their trucks the lamp grills? I was wondering how they had to be installed. drill into the body work? or current holes for the light fitments.

I haven't got any, was just tossing up the idea. i realise they really only serve as an aesthetic thing.

    Cheers

I have a set ready to go on from John Craddock. You have to do a bit of drilling into the bodywork.

I figure with the xrox bar not covering the lights they might provide a tiny bit more protection, they seem pretty robust

Four holes need to be drilled. Two in the vertical section of the grill and two into the guard. Very easy to fit.
I think you can also get steel ones through Britpart, although that may be for the Disco 1.

They're plastic, but yeah they seem pretty tough.

Father in law has metal protectors all round on his RRC, they look awesome but I haven't seen them around anywhere for D2

I was considering them but got put off by having to drill holes. I decided on the plastic headlight covers which look nice and fresh and do divert stones away from the glass headlights!. Im very pleased with this choice.
