Not cheap though, $334/tyres and I need 5!
sounds good price, do not forget you need to flip the carrier with this size, again search is your friend.

How do you find the AT3's? I looked at those but wanted a bit more side wall grip and a chunkier tread

I'm happy with them, took them out for a decent run on the weekend. Not much mud though.
Pretty quiet on road. I guess it depends how much off road you'll actually be doing

I just put AT3's on last week, put them to the test in the Flinders over the week end and they went great but like elshano no mud.

I put on Silverstone AT 117's about 8-10 mths ago. Great wear so far...look new. They are pretty much an exact copy of BFG AT's. Cost me $950 fitted/balanced for 5 so I was pretty happy.

    Tyres

    I went with Maxis 751

    245/70 R16

Approx 2 % bigger than standards - price was good as this size is standard for alot of makes - 245/75R16 is not.

I only bought 4 - but will get a 5th for the spare soon - been told taht it should fit the spare wheel carrier without mods.

Very quiet and good grip so far - but only sand & gravel off road work - no mud...

    Hope this helps
