Can you recon/rebuild the turbo?

At that price, you can buy mine and I'll make the differance to get myself a VNT. Mine is apparently not that old. I'll have to check the service manual but the PO said it was replaced just before he sold it to me and it looks pretty shiny.

I think that's expensive for a used item. I making big calls here and I dont really know how much a new unit is.

The intercooler will catch most of it, But should be removed/cleaned or replaced if concerned about that.

I have had a GT 45 (1200hp) turbo munch a foreign object at 30psi at 215kph on qld raceway, the cooler caught most of it, could not find anything further then the hot side, talking to good friends they said what did go past that point would have been dust and out the tailpipe, They were right no issues and clean bill of health after a cam was shoved in the plug hole.

I changed my turbo at 180000 Ks and you can have it for $300 landed to you if you want it.
It is in good condition the only reason I changed it was because I got a new one cheap since then I have moved to a VNT.
So I have the 2 spares
