    33 x 12.5 R18 Tyre Pressures

    I know there are a lot of threads regarding tyre pressure, however mine is specifically referring to larger diameter tyres on 18" rims.

    I know there are a couple of people running 32's and 33's on 18" rims on their D2's.

    I have 33 x 12.5 R18 Kumho MT's on my D2 and run;

    ON ROAD
    36 psi front
    40 psi rear

    ROUGH / DIRT TRACK
    24 psi all round

    SAND
    16 - 18psi all round

    My question is, does anyone see any issues with this?

    Would you say that 16psi is too low?

    Tyre Pressures are very subjective, What works for me will be perceived by the next man as useless/ wrong! How low you go is related to type of terrain and load and speed at which you want to traverse afore said terrain ,type of tyres , ad infinitum
    You really have to just play at it until you find stuff that works for your situation. Damn! That means more 4wd playing, eer, Testing! Given all that those pressures you quoted are a good starting point .
    Cheers Scott

    Thanks.

    These are the tyre pressures I used on 31's on 16" rims and they worked well.

    They appeared to work well on the weekend as well with the 33's on 18" rims so I will stick with those pressures for now.
