Thread: Early D2 fuel coolers getting scarce.

I noticed the water in radiator bottle getting low and mentioned it to my mechanic who press. tested system and found cooler leak. Whe he rang one of his importers they said they don't bring them in anymore, another importer wanted $550 for an after market I think, (LR wanted $900 plus the last time he enquired). Ended up getting a used one re-furbed with new ends, which you can still get and normally leak. Also watch out as one end has a t'stat, which can play up.

You can also plumb in the later version with some fairly simple hose mods. Someone should be able to help with pics.
