Bit hard without the picture!
I give in....
Found this on the floor of the shed under the TD5 Disco yesterday. It's a dirt floor, so could have dropped it yesterday, or could have been there for years. Looks like a vacuum pipe of some sort.
Everything seems to he working ok, but if it belongs somewhere, would like to put it back!

Can you make that picture somewhat bigger for our tired old eyes?
Just what area of the Disco were you working on?
Check in that locality first, see if there are any orphaned rubber hoses hanging in the breeze.

looks like one of the vacuum lines from the drivers side at the back that operate the EGR valve. Mine aren't there anymore to check so just going off memory.
My old pootroll had the same vacuum line as well for the EGR also removed.
What is it made of,poly?
Diff/trany breather?
Cheers guys. Was under the right hand side of the engine bay. I removed the EGR A while ago, so could be that I suppose. I'll have a look around for loose vacuum hoses.
