Hi again everyone . I have been asking a lot of questions on here lately and am very apreciative to every one who takes the time to help me out with answers . I hope to be able to return the favor some time .
I have recently chanced my 2001 d2 td5 auto , into a manual . I had all the parts from my old d2 that i had an unfortunate accident in .
Any way ,after a lot of hard work in the driveway every thing is working sweet except for the cruise control. I have 2 ecu's the nnn one from the auto and an older non flash one from the manual.
The criuse control works with the older manual ecu but i get malor engine flaring during gear changes and it runs rough and noisy.
With the auto ecu it runs smooth as a whistle but i have no Cruise control.

I think the trouble i am having is caused by the clutch switch. With the old computer for a manual i get a 12v supply from the #35 pin through the black and white wire to the clutch switch and the nanocon says clutch switch off ., with the auto ecu i get 0v to the #35 pin un the ecu and the nanocon says clutch switch on whether i press the clutch or not .Any one encountered this before?

I guess i can try to feed the switch with power from another point and see what happens .

Also when i press the clutch using the old manual ecu the nanocom does not change from off and this is causing the engine to flare during gear changes so i think the switch might be faulty . I don't know where the second whire from the switch goes but i get a 1v reading on that one reguardless of ecu type . Strange .... any ideas?

I am soon to start a drive from perth to darwin and then into Arnhemland and i can't possibly do it without cruise control so i want to get it sorted .
Really hope someone can help , thanks , Bill.
