Thread: Opening Car Without Setting Off Alarm

I'd like to be able to open & start my car with my spare key (blank no button) without setting off the alarm. Is there a sequence in the system which enables this?

There are 3 settings you would need to change in the BCU to achieve this.

The Perimetric Alarm would need to be set to always disable when the door is opened with the key. You'd also need to disable the passive immobilisation options to allow the engine to start without the fob.
