Where to buy parts in UK

Hi all, I need to buy a new set of coil packs.

Normally I buy from Paddocks but they dont give an OEM alternative for the coil packs, only Britpart.

I know a few of you have suggested a website that gave you aftermarket or OEM alternatives but I cant remember the name of the site.

Britpart may be ok, but I just didnt want to take a chance with the coil packs, it will be bad enough just changing them once.

    Thanks,

    Adam

Can't fault them. I have used them for 6 to 7 years and never an issue. Buy everyting from them. (brake light switch to a full set of shocks)

Jaguar Parts | Land Rover & Range Rover Parts | British Parts UK

Had good success with these guys. They also have some of the more hard to find accessories a well, and very cheap. Like the D2 alternate cup holders shipped for $30- as opposed to over $100- here.

I second the above two suggestions, plus I use Rimmer Bros, excellent service and easy to use website.

    Cheers

I've had good experiences with Britcar, Rimmers, and L. R. Series - specialists in land rover, land rover series and range rover - gearbox, axle, transmission parts, spares and major units

Rimmers is usually very good for keeping you up to date with order status and tracking, and gives you the shipping charge at checkout, so you can see what you are up for without contacting a sales drone.

With Britcar I've received shipping notification after I have had the parcel delivered on a couple of occasions, so sometimes it feels like your order has disappeared into a black hole. The big plus is the range of alternatives for parts listed.

I've used LR Series a couple of times and haven't had any issues with them.

The other seller that lists a range of alternatives is http://www.lrdirect.com . I haven't used them but I have heard/read good reports.

    cheers

I also use Famous Four as well as Rimmers. Freight with them all is some times the killer.

Mode just did me a great deal on two sets of diff guards. Island 4x4 is another along with M-M4x4. I've used them all at various times. Can't recall buying much from the Aussie outlets. Even with shipping the UK prices are always cheaper. That might change with the falling $!

I'd suggest finding the part number and Googling it. Usually brings up numerous suppliers in the UK and then you can compare brands and prices.

I've used most of the above. Britcar being my favorite at the moment. Usually compare prices + shipping between them to see who does the best deal on what ever I want. Or UK ebay. Sorry but local dealers are just too expensive .
