Regarding the leak onto the CD player, I have a similar issue with my Disco. I am pretty sure it comes in where the air ducts mount below the windscreen at the back of the bonnet. You can see a couple of screws/bolts holding the ducting against the firewall from outside the vehicle. Might be a simple fix. Mine leaks in just to the right of the SLABS ecu. I've yet to get around to fixing this before it becomes a major leak.

I paid 11ish for mine and got a good price for where the market was.
If I didnt have mine then I would go for that one.
Around the radio is the highest part that opens up into the dash.
I paid $11,500 for my 04 model 10 months ago. I had 3 amigos, leaking fuel pressure reg but otherwise excellent condition compared to some of the rough stuff around at $15,0000. People get scared of smaller issues so it's good for bargaining. Fuel reg I fixed for about $220 and a new hub for around $250 sorted the three amigos. I spent $2 on a new oil pump bolt and replaced that even though it was already nice and tight. Things get expensive when you start paying people for labour.
I spent 12 on my 01 model, sunroof didn't work, auto cooler was leaking, needed new tyres. Now I've got leaking fuel pressure reg, but it's now at almost 250k kms :)
shure should at that price---the fellow has just spent big and has had enough by the sound of it
