Has anyone attempted to make the window wipers into automatic ones on their D2? or any landrover? do D3s or D4s have auto wipers from factory even?
As my VW is now up for sale, i figured it out and fixed it! was all from the water leak! which i found and killed! i will be selling as only one bum and too many cars and cant afford them all! and i am finding golf bit hard to get out of these days disco can just flop out LOL! but the thing thats hard with disco is the window wipers. being on the right side, buried behind the steering wheel there is really hard to get to for me. so ive had a brain wave to make them automatic like they are in my golf. in my pano the switch has been relocated to left, but i may even turn those to auto ones as well when thats back on road if disco attempt turns out. ive seen kits for it on ebay, or can get VW sensor or if new discos have them a landy sensor would be best! then no idea how to wire it up but could then take it to my disability car mod dude and he would be able to work it out im sure if i cannot!
if anyone has done it though would awesome to hear from you! hope my new hub arrives soon!!!
