Rola RBXL roof bars for D2 factory rails?

    Hi all.

Has anyone used a set of Rola RXBL rails on their genuine rails? I currently have the genuine roof bars SCT50175, but they are arced, so stand up in the middle and they make my total height 2040mm. Hoping that the Rolas can reduce total height to 2000mm or less. The few pictures I can find online seem to show them sitting only a few mm higher than the roof rails themselves, which are 1975mm.

I'd love some information based on first hand experience with them, and am PARTICULARLY interested in their height above the factory roof rail....

    Thanks
    Regards, Will

Hey mate, I have Rola cross bars although I am not sure of the part number.
They sit as you said, only a very small amount above the factory rails.
    Hope that helps!

Thanks Elshano. Can you fit under 2m carparks with them fitted, without touching?
    Regards, Will

The smallest carpark I can recall being in was 2.2m and I fit in there with the kayak cradles on.

I'll have a look tomorrow at how far they rise above the factory rails and that should give you a pretty good idea.
I've got the 245/75s on with standard lift.

I have them, with a 2" lift and sit at 2040mm. Carry a bag of cable ties for dodgy carparkoms.

I actually have both RBXL009 and STC50034AA fitted with my extended rails and there is visually no differenc in the arc. With virtually standard height I'm at 1980 for the rearmost crossbar (rear springs standard, front springs + 35 mm to compensate for bar, winch etc).

I've decided to go with Whispbar S47 rail bars, they fit inside the factory roof rails and will raise the height by about 25mm. Should be able to stay under 2000mm total height.
