    starting problem

    while coming home from a day out today we pulled up after driving for about an hour to get a drink and when I got back in the d2 (keys left in ignition)turned the key and nothing ,tried to lock/unlock with the remote nothing got out locked and unlocked doors with the key then with the remote and no problems away it went .has anyone else had similar problems and what is the cause ?

    Had much the same! as I understand it,leaving the keys in the ignition for a time makes the system immobilise itself.
    I guess to discourage any opportunist thieves who see the keys hanging there.
