You know the ones. They are above what would be the bumper end caps on the D1. They are not very big and curl around from the side to the rear.
I never really noticed them before yesterday when SWMBO reversed into a post and ripped one off. Now I need a new one but I do not know what name to enter into Google.

Part numbers and description are:
DQR101080 - Finisher Assembly - Rear Bumper, RH
DQR101090 - Finisher Assembly - Rear Bumper, LH
Don't assume ebay is the cheapest place to buy new as many UK ebay sellers include VAT in the pricing, and gouge on postage charges.
Checking one of the major UK part sellers for pricing on the RH trim: £28 + £8 postage (£36//$62AUS) vs the pricing in the linked ebay advert £32.50 + £14.50 postage. (£47//$80AUS). And LR Aus can be fairly competitive on prices so worth checking locally too.
Anyway just something to be aware of.
cheers
Paul
Useless...!!What are those small plastic rear bumper bits called?![]()
IMHO the main problem with the corners is the stupid trim part of the bumper that hangs down under each corner. This catches on stuff lifts the bumper and bingo no corners.
I have now taken out the old dremel with cutting disc and cut the corners off level with the bumper bottom, which gives about 2 inches more departure, blending down to the back of the plastic trim on the side panel.
However , now I have the urge , when I get some free time I am going to attack it again with the cutter and start the rise about 8cm into the side panel and plastic cover. If it aint there it won't hit.

All fixed,
$69 from Land Rover Australia. At that price it was not worth messing around with ebay.![]()
