There's no mention of LR models on the website ?, your RRC TD5 does it have a compushift for the trans maybe ?
I have finally found 32.1 and 32.2 wiring diagrams in my new D2a RAVE CD (the CD would not load onto my pc normally like the old D2 one it replaces), but can't identify which wire is for the lockup solenoid in the electronic automatic gearbox.
In saying this, I am assuming, perhaps incorrectly that the donor ex D2 TD5 1999 gearbox in my RRC TD5 is in fact the electronic version.
Can anyone assist, as I could not get the additional lockup kit which I purchased from Wholesale Automatics in Melbourne connected because they could not find the correct wire (wires?) in the ecu under the passenger seat.
Here is the link for the kit in case anyone is interested. I do a lot of 70 kmph driving on flat ground/light accelerator, so thought I might give the system a try, quite apart from the additional engine braking available considerations.

The D2 auto will be a 4HP22EH for electronic version, with a largeish round plug for the loom connector. The 4HP22H is the RRC version (also D1) and has a smaller connector and for less elecs, different ECU.

If it's got a 24 then stick to it. It's the model fitted to the P38 and NAS spec D2's with the 4.6. Larger pump and other bits overcomes the issues the box has with the larger engine.
I just replaced my (rebuilt and dead) 22 with an Ashcroft 24. See how it goes.
The differences in the 24:
Springs with different rates are incorporated, next the torque converter diameter is increased to 280 mm, then the bearing surface of the torque converter is longer to take the stronger loads, the converter lockup clutch diameter is increased to 300mm, the transmission bell housing is larger due to the increased converter size, the A transfer plate is 15 mm wider in order to accept the larger A clutch, the stator wheel shaft is now mounted with 6 countersunk screws for a tighter connection with the transfer plate, a new pump body was designed for the longer converter shaft bearing, the splines on the input shaft are longer, both sealing rings on the input shaft are cast iron, the A clutch has a larger diameter and the clutch friction surfaces are increased in size also, the number of plates in the B,C and D clutches was increased by one inch each, the one way clutch for 2nd gear has been strengthened and riveted together, the oneway clutch for 3rd gear was changed from a roller type to a locking body type for greater torque, the planetary gear for 4 is much stronger now with forged webs, the output shaft diameter is increased and 2 holes are provided for more lubrication, the output flange has a larger bolt circle to take more force, the pan is deeper, the filter is different for the deeper pan.
Hey Clubba!
would be very interested in hearing more about the new trans--

It's quieter, smoother, after 100ks its more economical.
The extended sump for the tfr hits the exhaust at the y piece so that came back off. Theres issues with spacers and bell face to TC depth heights.
Has anyone had a go at fitting one yet?
keeping a close eye on this tread as it's something i'd like to do if it works
