    CDL activated by brake

Hey guys. While I don't think my CDL is mechanically being activated when I use my foot brake, it is electronically. I also don't have any brake lights, still have rear fog and those that are active while headlights are on. I disconnected ALL electrical plugs that could be easily removed (ie those to the electrical CDL switch, the ones spliced into two cables and took out the 2 relay fuses). Yet this still activated the diff lock icon on my dash. When driving it doesn't feel any different; ie doesn't feel like CDL is engaging and disengaging. I haven't done anything electronically to the car so its happened out of the blue. Here are pics if it helps.

Any suggestions helpful, I'm going to swap the electronic CDL for Derek's system so not adverse to cutting wires and removing old unit if necessary.

In the messy wires pick the ones of interest are the 2 light blue ones and the pale yellow one. All of witch I disconnected to no avail. There is 4 black wires which are the earth too btw.

Brake lamp fuse is blown, common result is to illuminate the CDL lamp in the D2a when this happens.

Thanks Justin. Will have a look tomorrow when I get the chance. Had a look at a few of the fuses but couldn't find a broken one.
Thanks for the help, thought if might be that but couldn't find a broken one, though didn't look too hard as I'm heading out soon.

Yep brake fuse blown. Keeps blowing though. Even tested with a 30amp fuse. Lasts a few presses of the brake till it blows. Maybe/hopefully (but probably not) is I my brake light switch is gone I think, the rod no longer extends and retracts freely. Ordered a replacement and will check brake lights for water leaks. Hopefully not a short somewhere cause I don't want to have to track down 1 wire amongst all the others.
