    Question sharmy

    Hi All,
I have 2003 disco td5 auto and would love a remap. I know this is a longshot but does anyone know if the td5 alive remap can be installed via a hawkeye diagnostic tool

I meant the td5 inside map. Is there anyone between Brisbane and Rockhampton that installs these remaps. Has anyone had a remap done by british offroad on the Sunshine Coast. Any assistance would be appreciated

Would I be able to tell the difference between the different remaps??? Not sure. Everything that I read says that I will notice the difference between standard and remap in general. I am about to go down the TD5 Inside line. I am looking for smooth power, not harsh and MORE POWER. I have tried to read as much as I can with regards to different upgrades. (lots on the forums) I have an msb in the disco at the moment. Jose has been very helpful and replied to all my questions. I am going to a NNN (careful buy the right one, Manual/auto) with TD5 Inside map. The thought here is to allow for future changes that I may do to my TD5. At present I have a standard inter cooler and standard exhaust manifold. Not sure if I should remove the webbing at this point in time or not (I feel that maybe I should). I have just made sure that the nuts are secure. I am currently waiting for temp sensor and gauge to arrive (Strangy has done a fairly good review/install). TD5 Inside remap $340, NNN ecu $$$(you might be lucky and get a cheap one on eBay) or somewhere else few and far between.

Hi Greame - I'd be inclined to do the deweb sooner rather than later. Some even ceramic coat the exhaust after. Cheers

    Td5 Remaps.

You be better off upgrading the studs. I've had a skimmed manifold with JE Engineering studs and spacers installed since last March. I'm running a Td5 inside remap and have had no signs of problems.

The JE engineering studs are longer than stock and have spacer tubes but are standard diameter and thread so don't require drilling and tapping.
