Going to service the new to me d2 td5 auto 2003 an was woundering what's involved in a 160k service, parts, fluids, ect an how long to do the job.? Going to give it a go this weekend. Any advice or links would be appreciated.

If you are interested, I have a number of files downloaded from this site over the last 2+ years on a whole range of D2a maintenance and related procedures which I'm happy to send in sections to a private email address (files too big to post here).

I'd also take into account the prior service history. Some recommended items may have been done on a time basis rather than strict Kms, so if is recently done you may be able to reduce the immediate cost.
If you don't have a service history then I'd be leaning towards a major fluid and filter change (including the auto). ie the B service on Gavins Check sheet above.

If i was you i would contact the service agent that worked on the car and get every printout of work done on the car. It will be handy to know what has been replaced to date.
Thanks guys for the info. I've just bought it an I've got the log book with it so I will give them a call an see If they can email me the details hopefully.
