Cool at Kings cliff waiting for Obriens

we had a good shakedown trip from Avoca except for a Turbo hose blow off at macleods chute. I bought some you beaut wide clamps on eBay then was a bit afraid to over tighten them.LOL
it sure made a bang and lots of smoke on full boost.
We got to Kings cliff caravan park and the manager decided to whippersnip the next site.I went out at 6:30 ,closed the windows, and shut the drivers door to have the RH cargo window shatter and half fall on the ground. After initially saying the usual you can't prove it, the manager changed his mind and is paying for O briens to replace, apparently $450.
We are waiting for it to arrive from Sydney supposed to be 2:30 pm.
Add this to my loss of voice and SWMBO tick bite and it has been interesting start to holiday. Oh I forgot 25_ 30 knot wind at Kings cliff making anxious nights in camper trailer right on ocean front.
    regards Philip A

All OK now. Obriens arrived on time AND with the correct Pilkington tinted window with radio antenna!!!!!
We are now in Brisbane tourist park at Eight Mile Plains and upgraded to en suite.SWMBO is happy.
fuel consumption was 11.8 l per hundred ,probably bad until I worked out cruise control is a no no when towing with td5.
Fuel is scarce in Bris as Cootes apparently supplies it, and many stations closed.Lucky I found Shell Garden City had just been supplied as I had a 22c docket that expired yesterday.
    regards Philip
