Thread: New muffler:)

With the dreary weather today i thought id take an early mark and set out about making this v8 of mine sound the part. I dropped in at my local exhaust shop and they advised just swapping in a new ctr muffler. He also recommended a semi-sports type as these motors are loud? So $131.60 and 30mins later i was off. Im so very pleased with the result. Its just as i asked for, burbly idle, with a nice barkmwhen kicked and no drone what so ever.

On and unrelated note, my fuel consumption has become worse pretty much overnight. You guys thinking maf? Possibly fuel? I guess maybe ill wait another couple of tanks to just be sure.

Its just the dreaded "listen to it bark" effect.
Drive it the same as before and the you'll get the same economy.
