    Walked it.

Had enough reminding the boys at work. We did the Monkey Gum track the other week.
1 ol 75 cruiser with 2 inch lift and 33's.
And 2 patrol's with 2 inch lifts and 33's, the wagon had sway bar disconnect's and impressive flex, and the other was a tray back with leaf rear.

    Well.(preaching to converted)

99 D2 with 2 inch heavy duty dobbies. (no flex) and 235/85 with CDL just walked it.

I was the last to climb the last section(the steep bit).

And whilst it took the other 3 things, 3 hours to move 200M, it only took ol Rover 2 minutes, one line correction and minimal fuss, wear and tear to walk the so called infamous monkey gum.

In air con with stereo, which is so different to the 110 I had.

And still they won't admit defeat.

    HhahahahahahahHa.

No ammount of H's and a's will suffice.

It's been a couple of years since I did that track but the last section must have deteriorated a fair bit if it took the other trucks 3hrs to do it .

Apart from the one awkwardly positioned rock (at around 2.40 in the video below), it used to be relatively easy.

It was a great day. Great track. And the view from the lookout where the ladder is was amazing.

A few months back my 101 Landy towed a dead hilux the last part of that track in the rain and in the dark right up though pass the ladder unaided.
    Again no pics.
