Wireless OBD2 to Android
In terms of the OBDII the d2 V8 has good support for PIDs for the engine due to legislation requiring petrol engined passenger vehicles support ODBIi from 1996 onwards.
Diesel passenger vehicles weren't required to support OBDII until 2005, so Td5 has virtually no PID support - to the point generic code readers and virtual dashboard apps are pretty well a waste of time.
