To the right (tighten) only about 1/-1/8 of a turn. You will wear a clicking noise. It should show on the top left corner of the dash showing CDL locked. If it doesn't drive a few meters to see if it needs to engage. You will be able to feel it engaged when you're driving; its a different feel. Also just be aware that when disengaging it obviously is a reverse of engaging but it may not disengage. I believe it's called "wind up"? Regardless of what it's called you may need to drive in the opposite direction to which you were when CDL was engaged to "unwind"? CDL.
