I would say the oil seal on the axle in the end of the diff housing.
Sounds like you are going in there anyway so changing the seal is good/lucky timing..
I've just noticed this leak. Any ideas where it could be from? I'm going to be replacing steering knuckle ball joints(already got them and the tools to do it) in the next few weeks so I'm probably going to end up servicing the whole area. It appears to be gear oil splattering on to inside of tyre. Picture in link below:

Hey I just had this the other day myself and it seemed to be more noticeable if I did some off roading and got things a bit hot.
I found there is a cover on the inside of the wheel arch which can come off with about 4 screws and then you will see your transmission oil cooler in between the standard radiator and the aircon radiator. Have the car running and check for leaks.
Mine was leaking from the metal pipe join on the cooler so I replaced it with 2 x coolers from super cheap and some hose. The original cooler is quarter the size of the radiator and its more common to have one of the joins in the hose leak than what I had apparently.
So I replaced the hose from under the engine where it goes from metal pipe to hose and ran new hose all the way to the front where I mounted my new coolers.
Good luck!
