    Lucky I checked!

    Hello all, (again).

No sooner had I finished replacing the exhaust manifold studs and downpipe flex joint, I go to bleed the air out of the top radiator hose and bam! You guessed it. So I have a look at what size new hose clamps I will breed when I replace the hose, and the lowest part of the hose doesn't even have a clamp on it. Hahaha.
I have made it from Townsville to Sydney, done 4 months of driving around and done the Monkeygum track without it.

Heading back to Townsville in 3 weeks time. Glad I saw that when I did. Hahaha.

    Will.

I think you can forget buying any lotto for a while! All your luck has gone on holding that hose together! Most new hoses come with new clamps already to go, even if they are those ivective inducing spring clamps! But they do work but need a proper tool which is not dear.
    Cheers Scott

    Bleed screw?

Does anyone know if someone in Sydney(west) supplies the brass replacement bleed screw?

As I don't have a postal address down here, I cant order one to my door.

You should find someone there to supply them, but if not, MR supply the brass Maxi Drive bleed screws, get them posted to the nearest Post Office, to be held for you, Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Coolant level sensor would go nicely in that hole if you don't already have one somewhere else. Money well spent in my books.
