    Another D2 handbrake question.

    OK today I fixed the adjuster in the drum, but I also adjusted the cable under the floor.
    Mine has the big 21MM nut with hemisphere on top and the 16MM nut on the cable. LOTS of fun reaching up with 2 spanners and no room.

    My cable has about 30MM of thread showing and I adjusted it about 1MM but the handle is still not perfect with 2 clicks. More like 3-4.

    My question is does anyone know how much thread is on the end of the cable, 30MM ? 40MM? 50MM?
    I would HATE to put a bit more adjustment on and have the thread pop out as that would mean lots more angst.

    Have you already adjusted the shoes so they are just clear of the drum? If not this is the 1st stage, once this is done you 'fine tune' but adjusting the cable.

    I have adjusted this sucker so many times I am over it.
    At least I got to see that everything was still in the correct place when I ONCE AGAIN pulled the drum off..
