    SLS bong

SLS light is coming on with no registered fault in the SLABS ecu
No deflation problems, never had a bit of trouble with it in 18 months.
Bonged all the way home 40k but then no fault found?!

    Bit baffled, any ideas welcomed

If you haven't already tried it try cycling the system, ie raising to full height then lowering. Continuous bonging usually happens when lowering below normal height using the accessory suspension PLIP.

Mine did that and my LR specialist said it was the pre-tensioner on the drivers seatbelt causing the fault.

Ok, found I had a leaking right bag.
    Changed it, easy job.
Now I need to calibrate the suspension for the new bag.
I cant find a complete guide to do this.
Are the settings for sls calibration the same as the stored height settings?
I get the block idea between axle and bump stop, but I'm not sure if I'm just overwriting the calibration setting. It bongs under braking still too.

OP is talking about SLS "Self Leveling Suspension", your problem was SRS "supplementary restraint system"

True but it was the SLS light and noise that came on and Jordan Rovertech looked at it and it was the SRS fault, but it comes up as a SLS fault on the dash apparently.

Currently away, fixed the noise by telling the car it's on coils.
So I'm sure the fault is within the SLS system.
I've buggered about with the settings for stored height and target height, so I may have caused this. I'm still unsure about the differences between calibration stored height and target height. I realise many have changed bags without problem, but I do have an issue.
Cant get the SLABS ECU to record a fault, even though it is alarming.
Going to borrow a friend's SLABS ECU and try that.
    Any thoughts welcomed.

    SLS Problem Fixed

OK, this was of my causing.
Clue, always look at the last thing you did critically.
When I put in my twin battery setup, I had to move the ground return nuts circled in red on the photo below. The twin battery setup is waiting for the delivery of a Marine VSR.
Middle one was not tightened properly and had worked loose, causing an intermittent fault, which was not registering on the SLABS ECU.
Clues were higher than usual Volts over the Valves according to the Nanocom. 1.5V or so. Once tightened, less than 0.1V
Put this up for the next poor soul chasing a Discovery 2 SLS fault.
