Thread: What spares do you keep in the shed?

    So with the spares you carry in the disco where do you put them? Mine is a 7 seater with rear aircon so with 6 seats always occupied I don't have much room. Cheers

    Hoses and belt - pop bonnet, in the scuttle panel area below windscreen.

    Other bits and pieces can be stored in behind the vent behind the 3rd row, under front seats and behind bull bar etc.

    How long can some of the said spares survive? eg
    Serpentine belt; we have a little squeak happening and I'm thinking to grab a belt and have it ready for mechanic at next oil change, let him make the call on whether or not it needs to be done and if not, then just hang on to it (gotta do it eventually s urely.. have had it coming up to 3 years I think now)

    I could build a tdi discovery and an isuzu stage one from the ground up and still have leftovers.
