After market head unit access for 2000 TD5
Guys - My Pioneer stereo quit over the Christmas holidays. I've checked all the fuses and they are fine. I need to get at the unit and see if all the connections are fine to the back of the unit. How do I pop the unit out? I've seen the threads on how to get the OEM head unit out, but they aren't really applicable to me. Is there an easy way to get at the back of the unit? Sorry to have asked this if it's been asked before. Pulling out a stereo unit is a new thing for me.

Pioneer usually has a long "finger" tool that deflect the lock in mechanism and assist in pulling it out. One per side, need to use both at the same time to bring it out.
