I saw a leather bound one (were they stock on HSE spec D2s?) on eBay a few days ago. It was under $100 IIRC.
Fitting the leather wrap as mentioned above was the first thing I did to mine when new to me. I bought a set of gaitors for the park brake and transfer case shifter too. There was also a different seller doing a leather cover for the storage box between the seats.
I do wish mine had a full leather interior. I could live with black even. I wonder what a set normally goes for?
I bought a good second hand leather wheel from the US. It ended up begin cheaper than a tatty standard wheel from a local wreckers even factoring in shipping.
The airbag is held on by a couple of torx screws, so it's just a matter for following RAVE in regard to safety procedures and disconnecting battery for the recommended time before starting work.
You just need to take a bit of care with the rotary coupler positioning but in the end the most difficult part of the job is getting the wheel off the steering column.

To get wheel off, loosen the big stake nut but do completely remove. Leave it threaded in because the wheel will require a big yank to come loose; the stake nut will be there to stop the wheel flying off and punching you in the face.

Yeah that rotary coupler is a bit of a ba5tard. Mine is still annoying the hell out of me with the clicking each time I turn the wheel.
I also bought an 02 replacement for my 04, from the US. It looks exactly the same as the pic above, and the same as the worn out one (except leather vs plastic). The problem is for some reason it doesn't push the little spring loaded post on the coupler in far enough and clicks away madly each time you turn...
Maybe there was some slight difference with the casting from early to later model D2 steering wheels.
Also to get the old wheel off, once you've got the airbag cassette off, be sure to also take off the white plastic moulding that the cables clip into. With this off you can fit the arms of a puller at strategic points and get it off easily without having to bash the crap out of it from behind.
