What year is the vehicle? It may be a long shot but earlier Discos had a remote lock frequency of 315Mz because of interference at shopping centers etc it was changed to 433Mhz. May some one else will remember? When I had issues i checked the receiver it was labelled with the frequency
    Regards Ollie

What do I do I'm getting a bit sick of these car problems
If you are in a suburban area, I'd have a chat with your neighbour closest to your garage and ask them if they have introduced any new wireless equipment. It could be something like a tyre pressure monitoring system, they can broadcast on the same frequency and be interpreted as a security threat by the computer.

By the way, all of the interference issues I have had in the last 10 years have been with the 433mhz system in place. So it is not immune from interference.
