    Thanks for your answer Pete.
I already bought a new kit which includes the regulator but having read it up on the forum here I have decided to go for the full monty with a new block and hose etc.
I don't want to do this job twice.

Where have you found that the TD5 regulator is 4 bar?

Previously there has been a lot of discussions on this, however, no source was found with the details of the pressure of the regulator, hence why I ask.

RAVE: Fuel delivery system - Td5

A fuel pressure regulator is located at the rear of the engine and ensures that the delivery pressure remains at 4.0 bar (58 lbf.in2) by controlling the amount of fuel returning to the fuel tank.
