Thread: What should I look out for?

Hi guys

I have found two cars that interest me. Both have pretty good kms on clock.

Any suggestions what I need to look for other than log book history?

I want it for general travel and the occasional horse float towing. Needless to say some 4WD-ing would also occur.

Hi Amatol,

Take a look in the stickies section of this forum there's lots of useful info there. Good service history is a good start but a pre purchase inspection from a LR specialist could save you heart ache and $$$ down the track. There all over 10 years old now and it's fair to say there will be something that will need attention, so be sure to budget for that.

If your going to be towing, the SLS (air bag) rear suspension is a great option to have.
