I have ordered the poly bushes for extreme use so will see how I go

Likely a little too rigid for normal use.

There are standard poly bushes and then there are the "super pro" poly bushes.

I would never use poly bushes, but after researching the poly pro bushes I decided to give them a go. They have only been in the rear control arms for 10 months now but so far so good. They are very different to standard poly bushes and definitely flex a lot more than standard. According to tests they flex as good as rubber yet last a lot longer....and they would want to at the price they are.

I never saw anything about the extreme ones so I don't know what I have.

When I spoke to Andrew about them, he had never heard or seen super pro so his comments are only based on the standard poly bushes.

I emailed Superpro about the extreme use bushes. There answer is what I suspected. The extreme bushes are a lot tougher but have no where near the flex of the standard bush. Since it's flex that I want I am going to get the standard bush as even the standard Superpro bush is meant to be heaps stronger than rubber.

Super pro won't bind either so won't tear the bush

called them from super pro web site and made bank transfer hope to get bushes next week.

Wow. I am hoping I am getting the right product now. I am guessing your price was for 2 sets (back and front)

I found a guy in Melbourne who sells them. Ringwood Auto Parts.

I am getting the 2 sets for $310 delivered.

He sells the full range of Superpro stuff so I got the lot.

SPF2128 kit is $155
SPF1803 kit is $35.
SPF2560 kit is $240 (offset front bushes)

Or maybe just wait until mine arrive next week so I can make sure it is all genuine.

hm I bought

SPF2128-80K and SPF 2135

when I describe the use he recommended going for the Xtrem use

I guess we will wait and see will give them a call seems like SuperPro fleeced me and I payed quite a premium

As Tombie said, never torque up suspension rubbers on the hoist or jack. Always install the through bolts loosely then lower the vehicle so that it is on the ground and sitting normally then torque the bolts to specs. Otherwise premature failure will result

I do the same for poly bushes too although Im not sure it is required, just habit.
