Advice on parts order needed. Radiator and other bits

I'm posting this before I'm searching because it's getting late and I guess people will be going to bed. I'll be up all night searching whats best.

I managed to develop a leak in my radiator Disco 2, 2002, TD5, today.

I also need a few other bits so I'm thinking of ordering OS to save some cash.

    I need:

    Radiator.
Injector Harness. Just the part in the engine, not the whole ECU lead.
    Radiator return hose.
2 screws for the top radiator shroud.
    Tapet cover gasket.
    Sump gasket
    Oil pump screw.

I need to know are there different versions of any of the parts and how do I identify what version motor I have, if they are different.

I'm also open to suggestions to where is the best place to purchase. I have bought from Paddocks and been happy. I'm also looking at a radiator from the US for $136 plus $33 freight.

    Happy Days.

FYI. I had a Madman gauge with water level alarm so no damage was done from the leak. I got out and topped it up as soon as the alarm went off. I carry coolant when I go bush or away from home. I thought it was a bit odd but I know the drain plug has a very small leak. Then it went off only 2 minutes later. I investigated some more on the second time and found it pouring out the bottom. I was managing about 5km between filling and the alarm going off on the way home. My sensor screws are just under the seem in the middle of the filler tank so there was always plenty left each time I stopped but I figured it was better to be safe than sorry.

The radiator had a small curved damage mark on the back from before I purchased it. I had seen it there when I changed the fan bearing. I used some card board to protect it when I was working on it. The leak seems to have formed right at the end of the damage.

    Happy Days.

Looks like I'll need a restrictor to fit to my oil cooler as well.

    Radiator

    Hi Joel,
I'mjust fitting a radiator in a D2 Td5.After a lot of searching I bought it locally from a nationwide chain. It was $356 all up.All other leads ended up being the same or more in the final quote. All radiators I could find are the same but there is some confusion at the suppliers. That has to do with the oil-cooler return line which is no longer used, there is a spigot on the radiator without a hole, and you are not supposed to drill it out.
The restrictor is in the fuel-cooler, MY 2002 should have it already installed.
Earlier radiators had a partition for the fuel-cooler, Landrover did away with that and that is when the restrictor was fitted. When the earlier D2's need a new radiator they get now the unpartitioned radiator and need to fit the restrictor. As for hoses it is all the same, but it depends if the EGR is still there or how the removal was done.
Oil-pan gasket and rockercover gasket are the same on all Td5s, AFAIK.
    Regards,
    Heichen

    Thanks for the reply mate,

I've found radiators in the UK are about 80 pound so very roughly $160 plus freight. As I need a few parts, I think freight should work out ok, I hope.

I have found 2 different rocker/tappet cover gaskets. Pre and post 01. I'm pretty sure mine is 01 build so right on the fence. I'll have to wait until I'm home to check the vin. Unfortunaly home is where it's staying until I can get these parts.

I've read that I should get a genuine sump gasket because there have been aftermarket gaskets that have been too small and they can be a bugger to fit.

    Happy Days

Mate, my only advice is, do not go cheap on your radiator. I recently bought one from MR Auto, Redcliffe, $350, made in Denmark, would you believe. Give the cheap Chinese version a wide mark. Bob
