Importance of fitting tyres correctly
The story starts after been 4wd D2 started getting a shaky steering wheel from 70kmh onwards. Got the tyres balanced at work (fearing I had spun a tyre on the rim) which I had and also they did an alignment. Took it home and was just as bad or even worse than before. Had a quick scoot over it checked for worn ball joints etc all good. So I decided to rotate the tyres and spotted that the tyre shop had mixed the two treads up(both the same brand tyre but one set is a new style tread) on either axle. Sorted them out and took the D2 for a spin what a difference it makes. Moral of the story always double check and rotate tyres correctly. Someone is in for a ear chewing Monday morning!!
