In theory they can pinch off road if less than say 5 psi. In practice I have never had a problem with 0 psi and full normal articulation. My brother likewise. I might be lucky. 5psi might stop an inch of articulation but if you combine them with taller longer travel springs you are getting no compromise compared to stock.
