And about 2 or 3 secs from std ride height to off road mode. Also having a 1/4" exhaust outlet makes the adjustments a lot faster.

I wouldn't be surprised if I have just enough air to move mine about that speed but the valves, while they have 1/4" connections, there is only a small pin hole for the flow. I guess thats what I get for buying cheap chinese valves however I can carry a couple of spares for next to nothing and they are easy to change.

    Happy Days.

The small hole is normal for the valves.

I just cant see the point of 1/4" fittings and such small holes. There wasn't really much point in me running 6mm hose. I could have run 2mm (if you can get 2mm) and had the same effect due to restriction at the valves. (I know about hose restriction per length).

They're not normally for full flow application. In a pneumatic circuit imagine them as relays if you like controlling pilot pressure activating other stuff. You can get full flow valves but you'll pay. Its not really enough that you'll notice a difference in the pressure/flow volume you're running.

I mainly converted the whole sls system to 1/4 because you can get parts anywhere.. even masters sell the stuff these days.

NPT or BSP? Mines a combo with the NPT tapped to BSP and thread sealant. I have no leaks but it's a pain. Most eBay stuff just says 1/4 but doesn't specify if it's NPT or BSP.

I have a shallow tap that I used to re tap the valves with to bsp. Only the bags have adapters.

Joel. I was just reading RAVE and it says "The plastic moulded silencer has two chambers. One chamber reduces system exhaust noise and the other dampens intake air pulses produced by the compressor"

I would therefore suspect that your small air tank might also help to dampen compressor pulses, so probably a good thing.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
