    Could have been worse....

So after chasing a rushing air sound that happens at 100km per hour and messing with the door seal etc to no avail, and having put up with it for 12 months, I thought I had the answer. Changed out the air deflected just behind the rear door in question as the one of the kids snagged their school bag on it and broke the top screw mount about 12 months ago.

Went for a drive after the painful change over and the noise remained, but this time due to seating arrangements my 12 year old was sitting next to the window which is the usual abode of the 3 year old. Took my opportunity and the 12 year old gave me valuable information.

Having put up with the noise thinking it was something else causing it, I have today slid the rear window guide / seal inside the door frame up and the noise has vanished. It would appear that at some stage the window stuck while being wound down and the seal moved down about an inch.

When have you expected expected the worse and been surprised by a very simple cheap solution?

Lol mine did the same and had the noise but it didn't take me 12m to work it out luckily!😂
I don't know why, but it hasn't dropped in ages.

I failed to properly secure a shackle on my recovery eyelets on the bar once.
Came off and bounced under the car at 80km/h.
Thought the prop had taken out the gearbox for sure.

Perhaps that is just comes along with Land Rover ownership, your mind always jumps to the worst possible scenario.

Nice to get a win now and then though
