    Spring creak sound

    Hi folks
Chasing a noise on my 01 Td5 auto.
A while ago while maneuvering around a servo I noticed a noise that sounded a lot like the sound a spring makes under articulation, which is odd as they weren't being articulated at all.
This first occurred with no front prop in and the centre diff locked, and is still doing it with a new front prop and centre diff unlocked.
I ran a search and came up with rear prop bolts on the TC end, and something about a washer in the steering box?
    Any other suggestions?
    Cheers

    update.
Another possible "sounds like", similar to the noise when you let your foot off the brake on an incline with the handbrake engaged.
Happens in a straight line so doubt it's the steering box spacer, can't notice it above 60kmh.
    Might check the rear prop.

Some possibility s, Panhard rod bushes/bolts, a suspension bush bolt loose, steering shockie bushs , sticky / dirty / rusty disc or pads , a spring insulator missing? possibly get SWMBO to rock the steering while gazing hopefully under neath? Other than that just turn Metallica up a notch and drive until something falls out/ off!
