Thread: new interior led lights on my td5

Hey guys, had some strip light left over and decided to make my own interior lights, just twisted 1 end off festoon to break contact, soldered neg and pos to either end of metal posts on festoon put back in holders and presto lovely white crispy light, did all three, I then put in new cig socket and usb socket and switch for strip light I put across back of cargo area for when out and about, just removed trim on side to route wire down to panel switch, al finished and works a treat,
