    water leak after car wash

    G'day guys,
new here, although been reading lots of info on here for awhile.
Forgive me if this is on here, I have tried to search but have had no luck.

I just put my new to me 2003 discovery through the automatic car wash and I noticed that after I drove out that there was water pooling on the floor of the passenger side. I removed the trim panel from underneath but could not for the life of me work out how it was getting in there? Although it was damp, it looked like it was coming from up in the dash somewhere?

It doesn't leak in heavy rain though and I don't have any coolant leaks?

    Any idea guys?

    Cheers

Water can enter via the heater/aircon air intake under the plenum cover. It is located on the pass. side, if you feel with your hand there is a cover that sometimes is loose or the plenum to windscreen seal is faulty, or the drains either end of the plenum airbox are blocked with leaves and is damming it up and flowing in. Also a faulty windscreen fitment can do it or a loose door top not sealing.
    Cheers Scott
