Thread: diff breathers

Hi all,i bought a set of diff breather about 6mths ago,there still sitting in the box thought i might install them next weekend along with a diff oil change,my question is how do you remove the standard breathers? ive had a quick look and they seem to go into the diff casing do you just pull them out? thanks jamie.

Where the breather tube goes into the diff housing, there is a plastic round collar that you push down and at the same time u pull the tube out from the housing. I would suggest before you do this that you blow the area clean as you wriggle the tube to get rid of all dirt and dust. It should be reasonably straight forward.
