Put the list together for my own benefit, then thought would be good to share with everyone – if you are need of a Land Rover specialist in the Brisbane / Gold Coast region, please see below!

    SBL Auto, Acacia Ridge
    Jag and Rover Spares, Windsor

I have been to MR., British Offroad and Jag n Rover. For my engine and gearbox rebuild I chose Brit and was very satisfied. They also did my sequential lpg injection. For general service, spares and problem solving at the right price you jusy cant beat Murray. He brings in d2 from HK with around 25k on them. He used to do the same thing for d1. His shop is chockas. I just picked up my d1 today from him. My d2 was there a month ago getting near new electric leather seats. My mates 4.6 d2 is there now. He might sound harassed on the phone but a really nice bloke.

    Cheers

Hey ozscott - ok yes it was indeed - two dark grey D2's ! LOL. Only difference was the tyre size perhaps....? Nice example you have mate.

Will be going back to see Murray in a month or two for a full service and look again at the transmission. Couldn't quite identify the possible issue i have, as (typically) it wouldn't produce the quite loud noise in reverse it seems to do when cold.

And yes Murray does seem a bit harrassed / rushed, but is really nice bloke with a lot of knowledge.......

Haha. I didn't twig while you were down there. Mate yours is a very nice example of a well kept d2. Murray should sort it for you while listening to classical music. I noticed a while back that was his music of choice....goes well with rovers, jags, merc, rollers etc!

    Cheers

Ohh...I was causing a fair bit of his harassment, as was my mate with the green d2 that was there!

    Cheers

Likewise mate. Cheers, it isnt without it (D2) issues, but it is a decent example..... have a small list of things i'd like to do to it / upgrade, so will talk to Murray about his Honk Kong low km D2 imports.....i noticed the HK rego plates there!

And yes the classical music is quite appropriate with all the Jags and Land Rovers there...! haha.
