correct it will need to be synced
Hi there.
After spending the better half of the afternoon fossicking around this forum I'm posting up for some guidance.
Today I purchased a replacement ecu for my d2 td5 which has been remapped for better performance. I connected it and it won't start with the replacement ecu. Fires for a split second but then stops.
I'd be correct at thinking that it needs to be coded to the cars bcu for immobiliser purposes, correct?
If this is the case does anyone in the port Stephens/Newcastle area have/know of anyone or can recommend a workshop that may be able to rectify my issue??
I look forward to your feedback.
Thanks in advance.![]()
