My Disco's horn beeps when I lock it when one of the doors is not shut properly. Perhaps you have a faulty sensor on one of the doors that's telling it that the door is not shut?
G'day all
For the last year or so I have been using key only to enter and start my D2 (disarming via EKA), due to the lost of my only fob. Recently i bought a couple of referbed fobs off a very helpful bloke who programmed both using his nonocom.
They seem to work fine except for two issues.
* Everytime I lock the car the horn beeps.(kind of annoying)
&
* If the vehicle sits idle for an extended period say over night, the disarm button does not work and I need to unlock the door to get the system working again.
Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
Thanks in advance

As above, the horn beep is correct if one of the doors or bonnet isn't registering as being closed properly. The switches are built into the door locks including the cargo door plus another under the bonnet at the front on the passenger side inner guard, it could be dislodged/damaged/unplugged.
Underbonnet is likely, the bracket is soft and a small bend will affect it.
