    td5 boost pressure

in the last couple of days I have noticed the disco seems a little bit down on power (especially on hills )I hooked the nanocom up on the way back from Melbourne today and while climingon cruise it is running around 1.1 on boost pressure is this normal as i'm sure it used to run around 1.3 .
    any help / advice appreciated

Mine currently hits around 1.3 although it has a tune. I didn't think a tune had any control over the boost but I swear it only used to read 1.0

Mine is 1 bar on the cruise, 1.13 on a hill, getting up to about 1.2 if i boot it.

    According to nanocom. Drives ok.

Bear in ming your turbo is a bit worn and your transducer may be out of cal after all these years, so a little variation could be expected.

On cruise with just the car mine sits around 0.6 - 0.9 and towing about 1.0.

Mine peeks out at 1.16 but I did notice it push up to 1.24 momentarily at the bottom of the hill, then drop to 1.16 and hold.

I have a TRS chipped ECU.

Noticed yesterday m and s lights not showing on start up so i hooked up the nanocom and for some reason it had changed from auto to manual i think this might be the cause of problems

Tune seems to have a pretty big effect.

I drove around with my waste gate disconnected. It was accedental and not recommended but it never went in to boost cut which is just over 1.3 from memory.

Then I installed my TD5inside tune and had instant boost cut on full throttle. I found the waste gate disconnected when I wasn't getting any differance on adjusting the waste gate.

I got the boost sorted and then later had TD5inside tweek my tune and again hit boost cut. I haven't adjusted my waste gate back yet as it only hits it if I accelerate quickly. If I push the peddal down smoothly, it's fine. I think it's just very close to the limit and the waste gate must bounce a little.

    Happy Days.
