    Places to get new Maps

    Hi all you 4.6 owners out there
    can someone direct me to a source for a MAP upgrade to
    go in my new 4.6ltr
    i hear there are some available but Google won't help me.

    Mark Adams or Tornado Systems in the UK, also available on eBay. Direct programming of the ECU, not through the OBD port. The only way I know it can be done completely.

    Hello Clubagreenie, I believe that some time back you had intimated that you had been in contact with Mark re reprogramming of the Bosch ECU and you intended having your ECU done.
    Did you go through with this?
    If YES, is there a noticeable change in performance and fuel consumption.

    Still working on it. Had two closely spaced major issues, a woman t boning the disco and then a kangaroo. Then winch, auto and engine failure because of the smash repairs. Just back to on the rd 3 months now and still not completely sorted. Fuel consumption at the moment is 38L/100 ! Have changed EVERYTHING except ECU which is next with a std unit to see if it's the issue then I'll have a spare to send over to boot.

    The issue is the need to send the original ECU or an ECU setup to match the car that it'll run on (preferably the original and use the spare to keep going) as Mark needs ALL the original security info to pull out and reprogram.

    And then there's the cash as three kids and being a student doesn't balance with disco ownership at the moment.

    V8 remaps??

    Hello Gents
    my ECU left on Monday for the UK
    Via OZ post so it may go via Brazil or elsewhere
    we'll see
    Mark has a spring special going at the moment around 25% off normal so i've lucked in there.
    i'll keep ya'all informed.
    might have to buy some old Rail line to make some sidesteps while i'm Off the road.
    don't want Clubagreenies' problem.
    Allready got ARB front so tha Roo's will come off second best i hope.

    I've got a bar and steps. But when she rams the wheel and bends everything including radius arms and drop arm and cracks the steering box, what other choice did I have but order new QT arms etc courtesy of insurance.
